CALUMO Business Intelligence is Truly Multi-Platform

imageThe team who supports CALUMO at University of NSW have to support users on many different client platforms. The latest challenge is giving people who use Linux access to Microsoft and CALUMO Business Intelligence. Here is what Steven Gibbs who is heading the CALUMO/Linux project had to say:

“I thought I’d try and get CALUMO working on my Ubuntu Linux laptop.  After a bit of searching backwards and forwards for help on getting Kerberos working, hey presto!  With VPN running I can use Firefox to access www.calumo.unsw.edu.au, authenticate and browse cubes.”

UNSW and Linux

Steven’s plan is to give Linux users the full CALUMO Business Intelligence experience, powered by Microsoft. They can even use Libre Office & Open Office!

CALUMO puts Business Intelligence in the hands of all of your users – Microsoft Windows, Mac, Linux and all mobile platforms.
