CALUMO Labs Pty Ltd (formerly SPF Pty Ltd) expands with Brisbane office
Opportunities have driven demand for Queensland presence.
CALUMO Labs Pty Limited, part of the global SPF business intelligence applications company, today announced the opening of its Brisbane office. In addition, industry veteran, Mr. Chris Mentor has been appointed to lead and grow the Brisbane operation.
CALUMO Labs established a presence in Australia in 1996. Since then, solid growth in the business intelligence (BI) and business performance management (BPM) markets, plus an increasing number of Queensland-based clients have driven the demand for a Brisbane office. Current Brisbane clients include major organisations in the banking, mining, telecommunications and government sectors...
The company’s main focus is a suite of Business Performance Management (BPM) applications powered by MS Analysis Services. The six major elements of CALUMO Labs are: reporting and analysis; planning and forecasting; workflow; alerts and notification; Dashboards and KPI’s; and Financial Consolidations.
CALUMOs target market is medium-to-large organisations that have a need for multiple budget iterations, fast real-time analysis of key data, and modelling.
Jeffery Walter, CALUMO head of operations, commented: “Our vision for Brisbane is to build the business to the same level as our Sydney and Melbourne offices within the next two years. Mentor’s first challenge is to raise awareness of what we offer within the Queensland business and government community. Walter added “It’s a great time to be involved in business intelligence. Organisations are largely familiar with the concept and are keen to investigate it to find better ways of managing their information for better decision making.”
