At CALUMO, we love to work with Excel. It is a great application for building reports, budget and forecast templates, for building dashboards and KPI reports to name a few especially when coupled with CALUMO.
With or without CALUMO, when we send our Excel spreadhsheets to other people, we need to give some instructions. There are a couple of choices, we can add an instruction page that no one looks at, write text all over the sheets, even have cell notes. But they are all flawed and there is a better way.
What if you could provide contextual help? You know, there is a button next to a number or header that when clicked, a very nice looking pop up gives clear instruction and information?
