AUSTRALIA – 16 October 2018 – CALUMO, one of the world’s leading business intelligence and corporate performance management solutions, has topped 11 categories in The BI Survey 2018 report.
Developed by the Business Application Research Centre (BARC), The BI Survey is the world’s largest and most comprehensive analysis of business intelligence end users. In total, over 3000 users responded to the survey, answering a series of detailed questions about their use of a named product.
As well as its top-rankings, CALUMO also received 10 leading positions in two different groups including a comparison with Large Enterprise BI platforms. The success builds on CALUMO’s previous results, winning nine top-rankings in 2017 and eight in the 2016.
CALUMO CEO, Dominic Parsons says: “This has been an incredible result for a local Australian software company competing against big, investor-led rivals on the world stage. We couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved. The BI Survey is the ultimate recognition in this industry and lets us know we’re delivering on the goals we have set as a company. That the survey results come direct from customers is even greater validation of the impact we have on their businesses.”
CALUMO received a top-ranking for delivering a better sales experience than market competitors, as well as the categories of innovation, vendor support, competitive win rate and recommendations. The company was also rated higher than any other competitor for its price-to-value ratio and led the cloud BI category for the third consecutive year.
CALUMO was also top-ranked in business value, a category that merges the key criteria of business benefits, project success and project length into one. CALUMO took the top spot beating out several products from rivals.
“As the results show, business benefits such as improved data quality and faster and more accurate reporting are achieved more frequently with CALUMO than with other BI and CPM products,” Parsons says. “These results confirm what we’ve known for a long time – CALUMO isn’t just a competitor in the market, we’re leading it.”
